iHumanMedia.com analysis of real estate home sales dip in September 2015.
The Commerce Department reported last Monday that the sales of new-homes dropped 11.5 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 468,000 units. August’s sales pace was revised from the previously reported 552,000 units down to 529,000 units. The pace of growth is slowing in real estate now.
Previous in August 2015, The National Association of Realtors said existing home sales dropped 4.8 percent to an annual rate of 5.31 million units. The decline in August might be due to rising prices shutting out potential buyers, said Lawrence Yun, the NAR’s chief economist.
Home sales fell most in America’s South and West, areas which had recently seen the fastest price gains, he said.
